Job Summary

Support the NAWCWD program at Point Mugu by maintaining and testing electronics hardware for weapon/avionics systems. You’ll read mechanical/electrical drawings, troubleshoot with standard diagnostic equipment, assemble and repair wiring, calibrate RF components, and ensure compliance with mil-spec standards in a hands-on lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to fabricate, test, and maintain weapon/avionics systems.
•Troubleshoot system failures using standard test equipment and US military gear for Electronic Combat Systems.
•Construct, repair, and splice wiring; replace connectors per mil-spec standards.
•Set up, calibrate, and test RF equipment and components to manufacturer specifications.
•Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure accuracy/quality in production items.

Salary: 79,400 - 108,100 annually
