Job Summary

Support the sustainment of Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces systems by diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic issues and developing local repair and maintenance solutions. Conduct technical studies, analyze parts and subsystem modification opportunities, and produce engineering drawings, specifications, and technical bulletins. Provide technical consultations to workshops/field units and deliver recommendations to leadership to improve performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

•Find solutions to mechanical and hydraulic equipment problems.
•Analyze parts information from weaponry systems to identify possibilities for self-manufacturing repaired parts.
•Apply mechanical engineering theories (calculations, designs, drawings, and documentation) to identify solutions.
•Improve maintenance and repair procedures by studying technical problems across mechanical and hydraulic fields.
•Prepare engineering drawings/specifications, submit technical study results with recommendations, and support MTSD workshops with technical consultations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university (preferably Saudi Council of Engineers).
•Minimum of four (5) years prior experience in mechanical engineering and research.
•Proficient in spoken and written English.
•Proficient in the use of computers and experience writing technical reports.
•Able to use mechanical design programs such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD.
