Job Function: Laboratory & Clinical Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform molecular cloning workflows including PCR, Golden Gate and Gibson assembly, transformation, and colony screening.
  • •Run protein expression in bacterial and/or mammalian systems, and complete purification and quality control.
  • •Execute QC of constructs and proteins using assays such as gel/capillary electrophoresis, Sanger sequencing, and SDS-PAGE.
  • •Run biophysical and functional characterization assays (e.g., binding kinetics and thermostability) and help bring new assays online for throughput.
  • •Prepare reagents and execute workflows including automated liquid handling; maintain sample tracking, inventory, and experiment documentation for reproducibility and traceability.

Key Requirements

  • •BS or MS in Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Life Science Engineering, or a related field.
  • •At least 1 year of hands-on laboratory experience in molecular biology (academic or industry).
  • •Proficiency with core techniques including PCR, molecular cloning, transformation, DNA purification, and gel or capillary electrophoresis.
  • •Protein expression and purification experience is a strong plus.
  • •Ability to follow protocols precisely with strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment.
