Senior Principal RF Design Engineer to develop RF/Microwave hardware for Raytheon radar receivers, exciters and transmitters. Leads architecture development, hardware design, and testing; collaborates with power, digital and mechanical teams; performs RF circuit design and schematic routing, with production transition support. Key Responsibilities

•Architecture development, requirements analysis, hardware design, hands-on testing of components, circuit card assemblies, and subsystems.
•Design and development of transmitters, receivers, or exciters.
•Design and optimization of RF circuits – either chains of components (receiver, exciter, etc.) or individual parts (filters, limiters, couplers, etc.).
•Working with interdisciplinary teams – power, digital, mechanical, etc.
•Schematic capture and RF routing.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years’ of prior relevant experience.
•Experience with Microwave/RF system, subsystem and/or component analysis, design and/or test.
•Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, ADS, CST, and/or Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition) and analytical tools (e.g., MATLAB).
•The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
•Experience working in design, from concept through production.
