Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide continuous feedback to the Local Head of CRC on the effectiveness of protocols and processes for continuous improvement.
  • •Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with the WSP UK team, communicating openly about project progress.
  • •Participate in project and team meetings, disseminate information internally, and coordinate with other WSP teams.
  • •Identify, act on, or refer potential risk issues and follow company commercial and contracting processes.
  • •Manage delegated tasks to meet deadlines, flag resourcing concerns, identify and flag additional fees, and complete timesheets accurately ahead of weekly deadlines.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience in a façade design/engineering role (or related industry experience) with building physics and sustainability design.
  • •Progression interest toward Incorporated Engineer / Chartered Engineer status with a recognized professional institution.
  • •Strong technical and design skills in building envelope design and detailing, including construction techniques, procurement routes, and risk assessment.
  • •Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD tools such as Revit, Rhino, and Grasshopper; Façade Embodied Carbon Assessment is an advantage.
  • •Familiarity with analysis tools (structural or thermal) such as Strand7, ANSYS, Solid Works, Mepla, Vitrages, Bisco, Trisco, Builddesk, or Flixo, plus an understanding of international codes (e.g., European standards).
