Key Responsibilities

  • •Prioritize safety, maintain a clean work environment, and support plant safety initiatives including the Emergency Response Team.
  • •Safely operate and maintain machine shop equipment such as manual and CNC lathes, mills, boring bars, surface grinders, and roll manufacturing equipment.
  • •Perform machining setups and assist with design/fabrication of jigs and fixtures as needed.
  • •Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings; use precision measuring instruments to verify quality and tolerances.
  • •Follow OSHA and company safety, quality, and operational standards; perform routine maintenance and safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and rigging equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required.
  • •Technical degree in Machining Technology or Journeyman Machinist certification (or equivalent experience).

  • •Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, plus safe operation of basic rigging equipment and communication skills.
