Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as Trusted Advisor by analyzing client/prospect business, portfolio dynamics, and business strategy to craft value-added solutions.
  • •Provide knowledge of Key’s product platform (e.g., investment banking, credit facilities, cash management, interest rate management, syndications, debt capital markets, deposits, leasing, private banking, equipment finance).
  • •Act as deal team leader coordinating Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, and other partners.
  • •Structure and lead credit and non-credit product delivery aligned to LOB strategy while demonstrating sound risk management and maximizing risk-adjusted returns.
  • •Proactively manage the loan portfolio to maximize profitability and maintain strong asset quality, including identification/resolution of issues and accurate loan risk rating assessment.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience (required).
  • •10+ years of real estate lending experience, including through a real estate downcycle.
  • •Proven understanding of balancing business development with asset quality and risk management.
  • •Demonstrated ability to work effectively on a team to achieve financial and risk management goals.
  • •A proven ability to provide value-added solutions and advice based on client business strategy and industry/economic conditions.
