Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for HVAC customers in a defined market. You will commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in commercial environments, using HVAC theory, pipe fitting knowledge, blueprints, and engineering specifications. Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers on installation and repair requirements, enforce safety standards, maintain asset accountability, and mentor team members while handling occasional overtime and overnight stays.

•Perform end-to-end testing, downloading programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.
•Serve as direct customer contact, ensuring satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand on-site installation/repair requirements by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
•Use software/technology and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
•Enforce safety standards, maintain security/accountability of company and procured assets, mentor team members, and work overtime and occasional overnight stays as required.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent) or a certificate of completion from an accredited technical school; typically 10+ years of HVAC experience.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with a handheld computer (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent violations, including DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, or preventable collisions in the last 3 years.
•EPA certification preferred (e.g., HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer).
•Ability to follow blueprints and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair HVAC units using hand tools.
