Key Responsibilities

  • •Own global sourcing and commodity strategies for electrical components and assemblies, setting supplier, cost, capacity, and risk roadmaps across NPI and sustaining products.
  • •Partner with Electrical Engineering and cross-functional teams to influence technology and supplier selection, design-for-supply-chain decisions, and supplier readiness for development builds, ramps, and mass production.
  • •Lead supplier identification, evaluation, qualification, selection, and ongoing management, driving performance through business reviews and corrective actions.
  • •Manage commercial negotiations and cost strategy, including pricing, cost models, benchmarking, development agreements, capacity commitments, and long-term supply arrangements.
  • •Identify and mitigate supply, capacity, technology, geopolitical, and single-source risks using alternate-source qualification, capacity planning, strategic inventory, and business continuity strategies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • •3+ years of experience in global supply management, strategic/commodity sourcing, or supplier management in hardware/electronics, supporting NPI and high-volume production.
  • •Experience sourcing electrical components/assemblies (e.g., semiconductors, sensors, batteries, PCBAs, displays, connectors) and understanding markets and cost structures.
  • •Ability to develop and execute commodity/category strategies across supplier selection, cost roadmaps, capacity planning, supplier performance, and supply risk mitigation.
  • •Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation, and structured problem-solving skills, with experience working with global suppliers and manufacturing partners.
