Key Responsibilities

  • •Under supervision of a Senior Engineer, perform detailed structural designs and calculations for reinforced concrete and structural steel systems.
  • •Assist with Revit modeling when required.
  • •Take responsibility for structural design and drawings.
  • •Collaborate with project teams, liaise with professional team members and contractors, and attend planning, design, and site meetings and ad-hoc inspections.
  • •Manage less complicated projects and ensure safety/integrity principles and compliance with relevant standards and internal procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 4 years’ experience designing concrete and steel structures.
  • •Solid knowledge of structural analysis software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Etabs, Robot, or Idea Statica.
  • •Experience designing reinforced concrete and structural steel buildings.
  • •Finite element design experience for concrete structures, specifically flat slab design.
  • •B.Eng. degree (M.Eng. preferable) plus strong communication and analytical/numerical skills.
