Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as client account manager for priority municipal utilities and lead strategic account planning (relationship mapping, growth plans, opportunity roadmaps).
  • •Shape pursuits from pre-positioning through negotiation, including win themes, solution framing, pricing alignment, and compliant proposals.
  • •Translate market drivers such as SRF/WIIA, IIJA/BIL, PFAS, CSO/wet weather, and climate resilience into client strategies and offerings.
  • •Lead practice operations and people leadership from the Buffalo office, including mentoring, coaching, recruiting, onboarding, and career pathways.
  • •Drive delivery excellence and portfolio health through technical collaboration, digital/asset/sustainability differentiation, CRM rigor, forecasting, and go/no-go discipline.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or related field plus 10 years of municipal water/wastewater consulting experience, including success leading urban utility accounts (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Strong technical grounding in wastewater treatment, water treatment, and water/wastewater conveyance for urban systems.
  • •Demonstrated wins on multi-year IDIQ/task-order, on-call, or capital program pursuits.
  • •Familiarity with New York public procurement and regulatory context, including navigating SRF/WIIA and grant/loan programs.
  • •PE in NY (or ability to obtain) strongly preferred.
