Key Responsibilities

  • •Design event-driven, cloud-native microservices using patterns such as Saga, Circuit Breaker, CQRS, and Strangler.
  • •Define bounded contexts and single-responsibility services aligned to business domains.
  • •Design and enforce API-first contracts using REST, gRPC, or GraphQL.
  • •Implement decentralized data management where each service manages its own datastore using NoSQL/RDBMS.
  • •Ensure resilience, reliability, and observability by implementing retries/timeouts/bulkheads/distributed tracing and integrating logging, monitoring, and tracing with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in software engineering, with 3-5 years focused on distributed systems and microservices.
  • •Deep backend expertise using Java/Spring Boot, Go (Golang), Python, or Node.js.
  • •Hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
  • •Experience designing API-first contracts using REST, gRPC, or GraphQL.
  • •Familiarity with event streaming and message queues such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS.
