Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the UK Digital Trust technical strategy and embed consequence-informed Secure-by-Design principles from concept to decommissioning.
  • •Lead development of design patterns for Zero Trust Architecture, including segmentation, continuous verification, policy-driven access, and product applicability.
  • •Define and evolve the Data-Centric Security model, including classification, tagging, encryption, and attribute-based access control strategies.
  • •Drive cryptographic architecture adoption in solutions, including PQC-ready design patterns, hybrid classical/PQC key exchange, cryptographic agility frameworks, and secure key management with HSM integration.
  • •Provide technical leadership across engineering teams and shape internal standards, patterns, and governance while engaging externally with standards bodies and partner ecosystems.

Key Requirements

  • •Be a UK National and achieve Security Clearance (SC) without any caveats, prior to commencing employment (advantage if currently held).
