Key Responsibilities

•Lead end-to-end capital construction projects across Asia-Pacific, including entitlement, design, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
•Provide direct project leadership and periodic on-site oversight for projects at Applied Materials sites across Asia-Pacific, including travel.
•Manage base build construction and oversee specialized facilities such as cleanrooms and semiconductor R&D labs to ensure compliance with standards.
•Coordinate hazardous materials systems integration and navigate entitlement activities (permitting, zoning, environmental impact assessments) with government/regulatory stakeholders.
•Maintain project controls (cost, schedule, risk), deliver executive reporting, develop funding due diligence and regional project pipeline inputs, and lead supplier/contractor performance management.

•Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
•10+ years of progressive construction project management delivering $100M+ capital projects across varied facility types, with experience in multiple Asia-Pacific markets.
•Knowledge of construction project delivery models (e.g., Design-Build, CM at Risk, IPD) and contract types (Lump Sum, GMP, Cost-Plus).
•Engineering depth in complex building systems and experience across the full project lifecycle (entitlement through build).
•Contract administration and vendor management experience, including negotiation and directing third-party design and construction-related firms in a cross-border context.
