Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform simple/routine structural integrity analyses including detail part sizing, trade study analysis, weight reduction efforts, certification activity, or in-service support.
  • •Document analyses for trade studies or support detail drawing sign-off using Airbus computer-based toolsets (e.g., SAP, CATIA, VPM).
  • •Collaborate with F&DT, Design, and other Airbus departments to develop optimum solutions with guidance.
  • •Develop materials for team briefings to internal and/or external customers and communicate issues, solutions, ideas, and status to supervision/lead.
  • •Understand project planning requirements and implement activities to achieve customer needs while improving team efficiency through process, methods, and tools improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering (Aero, Civil, Mechanical) with strong structural design/analysis and mechanics of materials.
  • •0 to 3 years of experience in static/fatigue & damage tolerance stress analysis with airframe structures and/or system installation projects.
  • •Authorization to work in the US without current or future need for visa sponsorship.
  • •Ability to understand project planning requirements and implement activities to achieve customer requirements.
  • •Strong computer skills including MS Excel and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail), with effective English communication.
