Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise clients on cost management strategies, including vendor prequalification, bid review and recommendations, and chairing bid interviews.
  • •Develop and review project estimates; present estimating outputs, value engineering recommendations, and risk assessments to clients while benchmarking against other projects.
  • •Establish cost reporting schedules, review and present cost reports and forecasts, maintain a commercial risk register, and host periodic meetings with teams and vendors.
  • •Manage cost control activities including payment application assessments, contractor entitlements recommendations, change order reviews, and dispute prevention/resolution.
  • •Oversee invoicing and final accounting processes, support post-contract audits and account close-outs, and lead post-contract reviews to capture lessons learned and procedures for project handover.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 150,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a cost management role in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is valuable.
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium or large construction projects.
  • •Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters such as procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
