Lead and optimize financial activities for mining projects in Peru, covering FP&A, accounting, cost control, treasury and cash management, tax compliance, and internal controls. Oversee IFRS-compliant monthly close, audits, payroll, fixed assets, and corporate reporting. Represent the company with tax and administrative authorities, build financial models for CAPEX and project evaluations, and supervise finance staff to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead annual budgets, forecasts, and medium- and long-term planning; analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
•Oversee IFRS- and PCGR-compliant monthly close, including cost/accounting accuracy, fixed assets management, reconciliations, and depreciation.
•Manage treasury and cash flow forecasting, including cash calls, banking relationships, credit lines, bond letters, and local payment processes.
•Ensure full tax compliance with SUNAT requirements (filings, payroll taxes, annual income tax, and electronic books) and coordinate/lead tax audits.
•Supervise finance staff (accounting, taxes, reporting, treasury), implement internal controls aligned with corporate standards, and safeguard company assets while contributing to strategic plan execution.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
•Certified Public Accountant (CPC) is highly desired.
•At least 10 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, including 3-5 years in a superintendent or management role.
•Proven experience in the mining or extractive industry in Peru with strong understanding of IFRS, local tax obligations, and audit processes.
•Advanced English plus advanced Excel, financial modeling/analytical skills, and ERP experience (JD Edwards preferred).
