Job Summary

Build and scale data solutions end to end, from ingestion through modelling and platform capabilities, to turn raw data into reliable products for analytics and AI. You’ll work within the Data Platform team to raise technical standards, improve data quality, and deliver a more self-service data platform. Collaborate closely with product and security teams while expanding Snowflake/dbt/Prefect/AWS infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and real-time analytics using Flink.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and build large-scale data solutions from ingestion through modelling and platform layers.
•Own complex technical problems end to end while navigating ambiguity and improving engineering systems.
•Continuously raise technical standards by improving data quality and driving a more self-service data platform.
•Expand and operate core data platform capabilities and infrastructure for observability and access management.
•Develop real-time data products and behavioural analytics platforms, including incident monitoring and automation for developer productivity.

Key Requirements

•Strong understanding of end-to-end modern data platforms, with hands-on experience in orchestration and tools like Snowflake, dbt, and Prefect.
•Solid infrastructure as code practices, particularly using Terraform to build, deploy, and operate data platforms.
•Core engineering habits including writing robust tests and implementing CI/CD pipelines in AWS environments.
•Strong data engineering fundamentals across data modelling, transformation, pipeline design, and data quality management.
•Experience operating production systems, including monitoring, incident response, and building automated self-service tools.
