Job Summary

Design and activate electrical power systems for advanced manufacturing facilities as part of the Redmond Facilities team. Build low- and high-power distribution architectures, lighting, UPS and generator power, grounding, fire alarm/lightning protection, and power monitoring systems. Collaborate with engineers, architects, trade partners, and facility technicians to troubleshoot equipment, perform load flow analysis, ensure code compliance (NFPA/NEC/IBC), and coordinate installations with local utilities.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide detailed electrical design and specifications for facility installations, including power distribution, switchgear/MCCs, lighting, controls (including ladder logic), UPS units, generators, ATS, power monitoring, and data/phone distribution.
•Support facility technicians by troubleshooting existing electrical equipment and controllers.
•Perform engineering support for the design, operation, and troubleshooting of facility electrical components, including load flow analysis, equipment evaluation, grounding, and power monitoring.
•Ensure electrical designs and installations interface properly with other mechanical/electrical systems and facility power budgets.
•Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations and perform code review/analysis using NFPA 70E, NFPA 70 NEC, NFPA 497, NFPA 101, and IBC; coordinate installations and maintenance with local electrical utilities personnel.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 105,000 - 175,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other engineering discipline.
•1+ years of professional experience on electrical projects including power distribution systems, switchgear, UPS systems, and/or generators.

•Ability to read and understand highly technical electrical equipment operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals.
•Preferred: Professional Engineering (PE) license.
