Job Summary

Lead reliability and continuous improvement of data center infrastructure across power, cooling, and environmental systems. Manage and develop Facilities Operations Supervisors and Technicians while driving hands-on maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and preventive/predictive programs. Own SOPs, emergency response, change management, KPIs, vendor relationships, and 24/7 incident response. Partner cross-functionally on equipment lifecycle activities and manage budgets, forecasts, inventory, and capital projects to maximize uptime, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Facilities Operations Supervisors and Technicians to drive excellence and continuous improvement.
•Own maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance of data center infrastructure including HVAC, power distribution, UPS, generators, and environmental systems.
•Develop and continuously optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs, calibration strategies, and performance KPIs.
•Create, refine, and enforce SOPs, emergency response plans, and change management processes to ensure operational consistency.
•Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, operational budgets/forecasts, inventory and asset/spare parts strategy, and provide 24/7 on-call leadership for critical incidents.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field (relevant experience may substitute for degree).
•7+ years managing critical facilities systems including power, cooling, and environmental controls in data center or mission-critical environments.
•5+ years of people leadership experience in critical facilities or technical operations, including direct management of supervisors or technical teams.
•In-depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems in data centers.
•Proficiency with building management systems (BMS), environmental monitoring tools, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
