Key Responsibilities

  • •Design high-reliability hardware for commercial and military autonomous vehicles, generating design documentation (stress analysis, power budgets, firmware/hardware interfaces, SI/PI analysis).
  • •Provide technical leadership to a small team of engineers from concept through production.
  • •Prototype testing, validation, bring-up, and debugging of boards and subsystems; maintain design verification matrices.
  • •Collaborate with systems, safety, software, test, and procurement across all product development phases.
  • •Identify and implement improvements to reduce cost, increase yield, and support production ramp-up, while mentoring junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • •6+ years of hardware design experience.
  • •Design and simulation of complex digital and analog circuits, using LTSpice and HyperLynx.
  • •Experience with high-speed signals (3GHz+).
  • •Experience with design for cost, test and manufacturing and with Altium Designer, OrCAD, or similar PCB layout software.
