Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform precision inspection (CMM or surface plate) verification on mechanical parts, components, assemblies and materials (may include but is not limited to first article parts, in-process and final inspection on assemblies, and materials for workmanship and conformance to specifications/drawings)
  • •Understand GD&T requirements as applied to the engineering drawing and drawing notes
  • •Spot interpretation issues as applied to dimensions written or evaluation to requirements
  • •Select and utilize standard gauges to ensure quality. Inspect feature tolerances by selecting the tool with the required accuracy
  • •Create, maintain, verify, retain, sort and organize all programs created to ensure they are readily available and saved to the current revision (in close coordination with Quality Assurance supervision)
