Key Responsibilities

•Own the end-to-end credit process for Wholesale Banking customers to support Relationship Managers in structuring credit solutions.
•Increase the lending portfolio by collaborating on credit structuring for corporate customers and ensuring compliance with HSBC policies and Mexican banking regulation.
•Prepare and assess customer credit applications in English, including financial statement analysis, industry analysis, and repayment capacity projections.
•Monitor portfolio performance by working with Relationship Managers and clients to ensure compliance with financial and non-financial lending terms and detect negative customer/industry trends.
•Coordinate communication with back-office teams (spreading, file monitoring, operations, legal) and manage customer documentation follow-ups for portfolio management.

•Contribute to structuring credit short- or long-term financial solutions for corporate customers with Relationship Managers.
•Identify and assess risks of financing and ensure appropriate credit risk mitigation and compliance with Mexican banking regulation and HSBC internal policies.
•Prepare credit applications written in English, including analysis of financial statements, industry analysis, and annual projections to predict repayment capacity.
•Monitor lending portfolio compliance with financial and non-financial terms to detect negative trends affecting customers, and ensure credit file completeness for payments and disbursements.
•Serve as a customer-facing point of contact to follow up documentation and gather firsthand information for borrower analysis and portfolio growth.
