Key Responsibilities

•Act as the main point of contact for Environment, Health & Safety at the Northampton Brewery, supporting all production functions.
•Manage the implementation of Carlsberg Britvic and Group EHS strategies, policies, standards and annual improvement plans.
•Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, safety inspections and internal audits to reduce risk and prevent incidents.
•Ensure full compliance with UK legislation, Group requirements and ISO standards (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001).
•Manage incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions, ensuring root causes are identified and risks reduced.

Key Requirements

•NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) with substantial practical experience leading EHS in a manufacturing or production environment.

•Experience implementing and auditing ISO standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001; ISO 9001 desirable).
•Ability to progress EHS initiatives by combining effective communication, coaching, and structured follow-up.
•Effective stakeholder management skills with the confidence to persuade colleagues and secure buy-in at all levels of the organisation.
