Job Summary

Oversee all day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring facilities, administration, support services, and site resources run securely and efficiently. Partner with the Principal/CEO and senior leadership to guide operational and financial matters, improve performance across support teams, and support improvement planning. Manage budgets, reporting, compliance, and third-party service providers, while leading health, safety, safeguarding, and sustainability initiatives and coordinating community and commercial engagement.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide strategic guidance on operational, financial, and business matters and support delivery of the school’s improvement plan and sustainability goals.
•Organize and manage administration and support services, including staffing deployment, recruitment support, and professional development.
•Manage operational budgets, monitor expenditure, and ensure value for money through monthly reporting, variance analysis, and forecasts with the Accounts team.
•Oversee facilities operations, security, maintenance schedules, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding regulations and corporate policies.
•Promote community engagement by operating school facilities for events and managing ancillary services such as catering, school shop, and after-school activities.

Key Requirements

•Provide strategic guidance to the Principal/CEO and senior leadership on operational, financial, and business matters.
•Lead performance management systems for all support teams and ensure service excellence, accountability, and professionalism.
•Demonstrate proven experience in operations, facilities, or business management, preferably in an educational setting.

•Maintain a strong commitment to health, safety, safeguarding, and sustainability standards, resolving issues proactively under pressure.
