Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver Cost and Commercial Assurance commissions, reviewing and scrutinising actual incurred cost and driving supply chain improvement.
  • •Lead assurance reviews across major construction projects to assess supply chain systems, processes, and contract administration for compliance and control effectiveness.
  • •Identify risks and opportunities and provide practical recommendations to improve project outcomes directly for the client.
  • •Perform data and information testing using smart techniques (including data visualisation, trend/pattern analysis) and produce written findings reports.
  • •Engage with stakeholders and the supply chain, fostering relationships and providing feedback on outputs intended for client circulation.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
  • •Holds or working towards an appropriate professional body membership or equivalent (e.g., MRICS, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MCIPS).
  • •Demonstrate experience in assurance or audit within a construction, commercial, or accountancy setting.
  • •Strong understanding of construction contracts and contract management, including NEC3/4 (Option C, E) preferred.
  • •Ability to analyse large quantities of data and communicate complex findings in written reports (Power BI/Tableau preferred).
