Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the development, optimization, and qualification of III-V epitaxial growth processes (primarily MOCVD) for various device structures to meet R&D and production requirements.
  • •Drive continuous improvement of process quality such as: uniformity, defect density, and reproducibility.
  • •Support New Product Introduction (NPI) from design structure to manufacturable process flow.
  • •Collaborate closely with international teams on process development, troubleshooting, and technology transfer.
  • •Utilize data analytics, AI/ML tools, and statistical process control to enhance process capability and manufacturing efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s or PhD degree in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related semiconductor field is preferred.
  • •Bachelor’s degree holders with strong relevant industry experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • •Hands-on experience in III-V epitaxial growth (MOCVD preferred) is preferred. Candidates with proven track record in developing and qualifying III-V epi processes for lasers, photodetectors, or other optoelectronic devices will be given priority.
  • •Deep understanding of epitaxial growth mechanisms, precursor chemistry, reactor dynamics, and structure design for III-V materials (e.g., GaAs, InP, GaN, or related compounds).
  • •Knowledge of semiconductor materials and device physics, especially for Laser applications.
