Key Responsibilities

  • •Define subsystem interface contracts, integration risks, dependencies, and system-level validation checks to support early integration of new subsystem designs.
  • •Design and build HIL systems and physical test benches, including wiring harnesses, for development and integrated platform testing.
  • •Implement automated test sequences and validation procedures to stress-test integrated platform behavior across batteries, drivetrain, thermal management, sensors, controls, and embedded systems.
  • •Lead system-level debugging when issues cross subsystem boundaries or the root cause can’t be isolated by a single team.
  • •Document integration procedures, test results, known issues, and platform readiness for downstream validation and manufacturing teams.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •5+ years of experience in hardware/software integration, system integration, vehicle bring-up, or hardware validation for robotics or autonomous vehicles.
  • •Proven ability to troubleshoot complex physical systems, root-cause signal integrity issues, and diagnose electrical and communication faults.
  • •Experience with basic scripting for executing tests, logging data, and running diagnostics (e.g., Python or Linux shell scripts).
  • •Solid understanding of digital electronics, buses (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN), and embedded peripherals for hardware-level troubleshooting.
