Job Summary

Perform and support gravure press operations across press room tasks, roll stand, folder/gluer, and material handling. Receive and prepare product for presses, set up and maintain doctor blades, cylinders, rollers, and inks/solvents, and ensure correct loading and error-free finished work. Support downtime and make-ready activities, assist quality auditing with pulled samples, and follow OHSE/cGMP, HACCP, and Chain of Custody requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate and support gravure press functions including receiving product, stacking/palletizing, printing pallet labels with Pecas, and ensuring correct loading for material handling.
•Ensure quality by reviewing jobs for accuracy and completeness, pulling product samples for quality auditors, and promptly notifying operators of problems/errors.
•Perform make-ready and downtime responsibilities such as webbing the press, assisting operators when the press is down, and supporting setup/teardown activities for doctor blades, impression rollers, cylinders, and print units.
•Maintain OHSE compliance and safely handle hazardous materials/waste, wear required PPE, keep work areas clean and safe, and use safety lifting equipment.
•If applicable, support roll stand and forklift operations: prepare and mount rolls, record roll data, maintain varnish viscosity, and safely load/unload materials while completing daily inspection paperwork.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or GED) and 1–3 years of related production experience and/or training, or an equivalent education/experience combination.
•Very good mechanical and physical ability.
•Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks including standing, stooping, bending, reaching, balancing, and climbing as needed.
•Forklift operators must have and maintain safety training to operate company equipment.
•Ability to rotate shifts and be available for overtime (in excess of 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week) when required.
