Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop a team of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and product engineers.
  • •Provide engineering execution for cordless and connected power tool platforms from concept through commercialization, following stage-gate and best practices.
  • •Drive mechanical, mechatronics, and system integration decisions across gear trains, impact/clutch mechanisms, motor integration, battery-powered systems, sensors/controls, and calibration/measurement.
  • •Ensure validation and reliability plans including DVP&R, reliability testing, environmental testing, EMC/EMI compliance, and product safety certification.
  • •Partner with Product Management and global engineering centers to manage budgets, timelines, resources, executive status/risk reporting, and engineering standards across geographies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • •10+ years of engineering experience in product development.
  • •5+ years of people leadership experience.
  • •Demonstrated experience leading complex electromechanical product development programs.
  • •Strong understanding of mechanical system design, DFM, GD&T, FMEA, reliability engineering, and product validation processes.
