Job Summary

Install, start up, commission, diagnose, and repair environmental-control systems in commercial settings using HVAC and direct digital control (DDC) knowledge. Serve as the direct customer contact on assigned projects, coordinate with the team leader and customer on on-site installation and repairs, keep current on Trane products, and follow strict safety standards while maintaining accountability of company assets.

Key Responsibilities

•Start up and commission new systems for environmental-control applications in diverse commercial settings.
•Diagnose and repair equipment and systems at customer locations to ensure customer satisfaction.
•Coordinate with the team leader and customer to understand on-site installation/repair requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize work.
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Trane products related to installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 21.89 - 40.34 hourly

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent and typically 3–5 years of experience in HVAC/controls; technical school or formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with handheld computers (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations in the previous 3 years.
•Previous experience with DDC controls system preferred.
•EPA preferred.
