Key Responsibilities

  • •Support geospatial surveying and data capture including topographical surveys, GNSS surveys, laser scanning, mobile mapping, UAV surveys, and other reality capture technologies.
  • •Assist with processing, quality assurance, and delivery of spatial datasets.
  • •Learn to use industry-standard geospatial software, mapping tools, and digital engineering systems.
  • •Create models, drawings, visualisations, and geospatial outputs for internal and external clients.
  • •Participate in site visits and field data collection; collaborate across engineering, environmental, geoscience, and design teams to support integrated delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above, including Maths, English, and a science subject.
  • •Three A-Levels (or equivalent) at grade B or above, preferably including a science subject (required for Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship).
  • •A genuine interest in surveying, mapping, geospatial technologies, digital engineering, infrastructure, or site survey/investigation work.
  • •Interest in emerging technologies including UAVs, laser scanning, LiDAR, digital twins, reality capture, and spatial data management.
  • •A full UK driving licence (for manual vehicles).
