Use schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals to diagnose issues, support quality checks, and communicate effectively across internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure safe operation by following safety rules and using required PPE, communicating hazards, and maintaining clean room training compliance.
•Operate and maintain index stretch, blow mold, and support equipment; observe electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for proper operation.
•Troubleshoot malfunctions, repair or replace defective parts, and use appropriate lockout/tagout procedures during dismantling and repairs.
•Perform preventative maintenance and changeovers on machinery, including identifying issues using schematics and equipment manuals.
•Inspect products for quality defects, notify quality technicians/supervisors, communicate with internal departments, and maintain housekeeping/plant GMP.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or GED; post-secondary education in a related technical or vocational field is preferred.
•Preferred 2 years of machinery operator/maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
•Ability to troubleshoot and repair production/packaging/mechanical equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls.
•Comfort using schematics, blueprints, drawings, sketches, layouts, and equipment manuals; strong attention to detail and prioritization skills.
•Ability to work all shifts and required overtime, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
