Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure safe operation by following safety rules and using required PPE, communicating hazards, and maintaining clean room training compliance.
  • •Operate and maintain index stretch, blow mold, and support equipment; observe electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for proper operation.
  • •Troubleshoot malfunctions, repair or replace defective parts, and use appropriate lockout/tagout procedures during dismantling and repairs.
  • •Perform preventative maintenance and changeovers on machinery, including identifying issues using schematics and equipment manuals.
  • •Inspect products for quality defects, notify quality technicians/supervisors, communicate with internal departments, and maintain housekeeping/plant GMP.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED; post-secondary education in a related technical or vocational field is preferred.
  • •Preferred 2 years of machinery operator/maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot and repair production/packaging/mechanical equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls.
  • •Comfort using schematics, blueprints, drawings, sketches, layouts, and equipment manuals; strong attention to detail and prioritization skills.
  • •Ability to work all shifts and required overtime, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
