Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage formulation of the annual business plan, targets, and departmental action plans for mine-level objectives.
  • •Implement and monitor scheduling, costing, and quality systems and procedures.
  • •Oversee mine plans and audits for mining activities to optimize exploitation of the ore body and achieve maximum tonnes and grades safely.
  • •Control costs via planning and ongoing expenditure monitoring against the project budget, including variance analysis and reporting.
  • •Lead manpower requirements, training and mentoring, and ensure operational excellence through alignment with health, safety, and environmental objectives and policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
  • •10–12 years’ experience in an operational/technical capacity in the mining industry, including supervisory/managerial experience.
