Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out multi-skilled maintenance, servicing, repairs, and planned preventative maintenance across building fabric and engineering systems
  • •Diagnose faults and perform calibration, testing, validation, and commissioning on plant and equipment
  • •Ensure all work is completed to Scottish Health Technical Memorandums and relevant safety standards and procedures
  • •Use CAFM systems and handheld technology to record maintenance activities and provide accurate operational data
  • •Participate in the emergency response team and rotational shift/on-call rota, and provide technical guidance to colleagues and contractors

Key Requirements

  • •Completed an ONC/HNC/HND in Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or have significant experience in an engineering or building services role
  • •Experience with fault finding, planned preventative maintenance, and working with complex engineering systems and equipment
  • •Multi-skilled approach across a variety of tasks in a hospital environment (desirable)
  • •Comfortable using digital systems and technology, with strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
