Key Responsibilities

  • •Subject matter expertise in Microsoft operations, applying and advising on complex software licensing topics and producing ELPs for Microsoft software (user- and server-based).
  • •Understand Microsoft licensing concepts and product use rights for on-premises and cloud environments.
  • •Navigate and leverage Microsoft software billing, tracking and measurement systems and tools (Azure Active Directory, CMDB, My Access, Intune, ServiceNow).
  • •Provide transparency of costs for software contracts and ensure fair allocation of charges to BUs and service owners based on usage.
  • •Negotiate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers/vendors; maintain a community of stakeholders and enable information sharing.

Key Requirements

  • •In-depth knowledge of Microsoft operations and licensing topics (user-based and server-based) and ability to advise on licensing concepts for on-premises and cloud.
  • •Experience navigating and leveraging Microsoft licensing-related billing, tracking and measurement systems/tools (e.g., Azure Active Directory, CMDB, My Access, Intune, ServiceNow).
  • •Ability to provide transparency of costs for software contracts and allocate charges fairly to business units and service owners based on software usage.
  • •Strong negotiation skills across the organization and with external suppliers/vendors in a collaborative manner.
  • •Analytical, financial and commercial acumen with the ability to process data in a complex global environment and manage stakeholder relationships.
