Job Summary

Ensure children are supervised at all times in and around the swimming pool. Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain full supervision of the swimming pool and its users, ensuring swimmer, parent, pupil, teacher, staff, and site visitors’ safety.
  • •Complete and record pool checks before and after lessons, liaise with maintenance for corrective action, and carry out pool tests per PSOP.
  • •Follow and support the Normal Operating Procedure and Emergency Action Plan (PSOP-Pool Safety Operating Procedure) and Health & Safety/COSHH/Risk Assessment guidelines.
  • •Support teachers, Swimming Coach, and the PE team with administrative tasks and day-to-day work; participate in galas and sports-related activities.
  • •Manage behavior according to school policies and help maintain a safe and secure environment through observation, guidance, and emergency assistance.

Key Requirements

  • •UAE approved (ADQCC) Swimming Coach or pool Lifeguard Certificate.
  • •First Aid Certificate and CPR knowledge.
  • •Able to support the needs of all learners and be qualified to teach swimming.
  • •Must be a qualified life guard and a proficient swimmer.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency desired.
