Job Summary

Lead the technical closure of sales opportunities for Observe by Snowflake in the UK, acting as the primary technical resource for the sales team. You’ll run deep technical discovery, design and scope POCs, deliver compelling demonstrations, craft sales collateral, and feed customer insights back to product. You’ll travel to client sites and industry events to showcase observability in a modern SaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct in-depth technical discovery sessions with prospects to understand their observability requirements and tailor product demonstrations.
•Design, scope, and manage technical evaluations and Proofs of Concept, documenting findings and presenting results to customers.
•Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute technical sales strategies and act as the technical SME throughout the sales cycle.
•Provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering on capabilities, market needs, and competitive landscape.
•Develop and maintain technical sales collateral, demo environments, and deliver technical training to the sales organization.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
•10+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect in the software industry
•Deep technical understanding of Observability concepts (metrics, logging, tracing) and tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, ELK Stack)
•Familiarity with cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices) and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
•Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to articulate complex technical concepts
