Key Responsibilities

•Lead the delivery of land-related services to secure rights on major infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland.
•Advise clients externally and internally on land issues, including statutory processes and land acquisition strategies.
•Liaise with landowners, land agents, legal representatives and planners to negotiate terms and secure land rights and access.
•Collaborate with land, engineering, environmental and planning teams to deliver high-quality outputs and manage project risks.
•Support bids and training initiatives (e.g., CPD, Land Academy) and mentor staff to develop capabilities within the team.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Experience advising on land issues across the UK and Ireland, including statutory processes to acquire land such as CPOs, Orders and related mechanisms
•Ability to liaise with landowners, land agents, planning authorities and clients to secure land rights for infrastructure projects
•Proven track record in delivering land-related outputs on large-scale development projects and managing risk for clients
•Strong communication and negotiating skills with an ability to influence stakeholders
•Degree in Geography, Land/Estate Management, Agriculture or similar; chartership or professional membership would be advantageous
