Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute full-cycle regular and off-cycle payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • •Gather, review, and input payroll data into SAP/SF, including hires, terminations, adjustments, overtime, bonuses, deductions, taxable benefits, and leaves of absence.
  • •Prepare payroll registers, reconciliation files, and supporting documentation for payroll review and approval.
  • •Process benefits and pension enrollments for new hires; support employee life-event administrative changes and quarterly reconciliations.
  • •Ensure compliance with federal/provincial employment standards, tax legislation, and corporate policies; support year-end activities and audit processes.

Key Requirements

  • •2-3 years of end-to-end payroll processing experience.
  • •Knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and statutory requirements (CRA, Revenue Québec, Service Canada) plus provincial employment standards.
  • •Strong Microsoft skills, especially Excel (Pivot, lookup functions).
  • •Experience with SAP Payroll is an asset.
  • •Have or be pursuing Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification (National Payroll Institute, formerly Canadian Payroll Association) is an asset.
