Key Responsibilities

  • •Open consumer and business accounts and services, and ensure proper account setup.
  • •Comply with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures, including completing BSA/AML and other compliance training.
  • •Assess customer needs, cross-sell appropriate products and services, and refer new business to subsidiaries like insurance, mortgage, and brokerage.
  • •Serve as a teller (Teller, Sr. Teller, or Teller Supervisor) and answer customer inquiries about products, rates, and services.
  • •Float/travel between branch locations as needed, safeguard bank assets, track required documentation, and resolve customer concerns for long-term outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •High school or GED, plus specialized schooling/on-the-job training in a relevant skill area, and 12–18 months related experience or training (or an equivalent combination).
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, the public, and employees in person and in small group settings.
  • •Basic mathematical ability to calculate amounts and apply concepts like fractions, ratios, and percentages.
  • •Critical thinking to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and handle routine problems with known variables.
  • •Proficiency with core customer service and sales expectations in a banking environment, including general banking product knowledge.
