Key Responsibilities

  • •Ship features that help first responders save lives, navigate emergencies, and keep communities safe; thoughtfully integrate AI-assisted workflows into the development process
  • •Collaborate with teammates across engineering, product, and design to deliver new features end-to-end
  • •Experiment with internal AI tools to automate repetitive coding tasks or accelerate test coverage
  • •Fix bugs affecting real users and improve resilience of high-uptime services
  • •Share feedback in retrospectives and mentor teammates through tough technical decisions

Key Requirements

  • •1+ years of professional software engineering experience or a Computer Science Degree and Internship Experience
  • •Experience with part of our stack: Java, Javascript, TypeScript + React, and MySQL
  • •Curiosity and comfort with modern development tools, including AI-assisted platforms like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or LLM APIs
  • •A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
  • •A balance of pragmatism and technical rigor
