Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide specialized welding, materials, and NDT technical support and clarification to project teams during engineering, procurement, and execution.
  • •Investigate and resolve welding, materials, and NDT technical challenges during fabrication and installation, delivering timely guidance to minimize disruptions.
  • •Coordinate and monitor welding equipment, consumables, qualification, and technical resource needs to support readiness and reduce execution risks.
  • •Implement approved welding procedures and qualification requirements to support compliance and successful project execution.
  • •Monitor welding performance and repair trends, recommend technical solutions and improvements to enhance welding quality, productivity, and execution efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical, Metallurgical, Welding) or equivalent experience.
  • •Minimum 8 years’ welding technology experience across various materials for offshore/onshore work in heavy fabrication or oil & gas.
  • •Working knowledge of international welding codes such as AWS, ASME, DNV, API, and BS for materials, welding, and NDT/inspection.
  • •Up-to-date knowledge of welding quality improvements and automation, including ECA/AUT for pipeline weld inspection.
  • •IWE/EWE certification and experience developing welding procedures for mechanized welding.
