Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct and report safety audits and inspections.
  • •Maintain safety audit and incident investigation files/records; keep JSA system updated with Production Leader support.
  • •Deliver some safety, health, and environmental training and ensure safety training for transferred or new employees is complete.
  • •Audit safety equipment and supplies (e.g., eyewash stations, spill cabinets, AEDs) and monitor forklift/shipping drivers for daily compliance and safe driving.
  • •Lead behavior-based safety observation program and assist in developing/updating safety policies and procedures; participate in safety committees and incident investigation review meetings.
