Key Responsibilities

  • •Strategically plan, design, administer, implement, and coordinate site HR functions including union/employee relations, staffing, training, compensation, benefits, and employee/community involvement.
  • •Serve as the primary HR business partner to the Plant Manager and plant staff, advising on HR matters and aligning HR to business objectives for competitive advantage.
  • •Drive plant culture and employee engagement initiatives, and execute applicable HR roadmaps and directives supported by HR metrics and strategic focus.
  • •Oversee the performance appraisal process for salaried personnel and lead leadership organizational review and succession planning for talent continuity.
  • •Coordinate employment reporting and affirmative action planning (including OFCCP audit support), and recruit/screen external staffing while advising on internal staffing and promotion compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum of 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience with increasing scope of responsibility.
  • •Knowledge of HRMS and other HRIS tools/software.
  • •Solid understanding of US state and federal employment laws.
  • •Ability to support employment practices including affirmative action planning and OFCCP audit support.
