Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with the rebuild of cementing equipment in the Aberdeen workshop.
  • •Perform maintenance, inspection, diagnostics, and repairs on oilfield equipment (e.g., diesel engines, triplex/centrifugal pumps, air compressors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, gearboxes, generators, chemical metering systems, 12/24V electrical systems).
  • •Install and/or replace new or reconditioned parts to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
  • •Conduct functional testing and verification of equipment readiness after maintenance or rebuild activities.
  • •Interpret mechanical schematics and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to support safe, efficient operations and project deployment readiness.

Key Requirements

  • •Technical School certificate or equivalent in a mechanical discipline.
  • •Approximately 5 years of experience in a related mechanical, maintenance, or oilfield services role (or equivalent experience).
  • •Basic computer skills and strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • •Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Commitment to safe working practices and operational excellence; may supervise/coach third-party personnel when required.
