Job Summary

Software Engineer on the Collins Aerospace SPS team will collaborate across disciplines to translate system requirements into software requirements and UML/SysML diagrams for mission-critical embedded systems. You’ll develop code meeting customer and certification standards, provide SBCDS support, and implement software in testing environments in an on-site, high-security setting.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate on system requirements and software development, translating them into software requirements and UML/SysML models for a large-scale program
•Work with software engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and cohesive solutions across disciplines
•Provide technical support to the SBCDS team, answering questions and resolving issues to maintain progress
•Develop code to meet customer requirements and certification standards, ensuring functionality and compliance
•Implement software in test environments and ensure thorough testing against specified requirements

Key Requirements

•Embedded development experience with object-oriented design

•Active and transferable SECRET clearance required prior to start date
