Key Responsibilities

  • •Grow and coach engineers by setting clear trajectories and pairing heavily during ramp-up.
  • •Give real-time feedback on design and code quality through bi-weekly 1:1s and ongoing sequencing of work.
  • •Own technical outcomes across delegated workstreams and step in when launches are at risk.
  • •Make hard technical calls, document assumptions and rationale, and decide with incomplete information when needed.
  • •Set engineering standards for code quality, testing, review rigor, and documentation; hire and shape the team.

Salary: USD 250,000 - 425,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years building production software with at least 2 years leading or managing engineers (TLs doing this work should apply).
  • •Write code and want to keep writing code; Python and TypeScript are specifically required.
  • •Fluency with LLMs as an engineering surface (agents, tools, context, evals, and AI dev tooling).
  • •Have systems taste: explain design tradeoffs, stress points, and why implementations are shaped as they are.
  • •Comfort operating in ambiguity and proactively investigate unfamiliar enterprise systems.
