Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee process validation during new product development and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
  • •Integrate manufacturability considerations early by providing DFM/DFA feedback and collaborating with design, product development, and suppliers.
  • •Oversee and document tool trials and engineering build activities, including robust production flow and meeting DVP/PVP requirements.
  • •Collaborate with quality engineers on PPAP approval and provide ME aspect sign-off for production start approval.
  • •Lead root cause analysis for complex failures, coordinate cross-functional task forces, and drive corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred).
  • •Greater than 5 years in manufacturing qualification and/or production development mechanical design, with project management or quality experience a plus.
  • •Knowledge of metal manufacturing processes (aluminum and stainless steel) and plastics injection (preferred).
  • •Ability to review product designs by evaluating CAD and engineering drawings.
  • •Experience with problem-solving methodology and statistical tools, plus Lean production mindset; GD&T drawing reading and 6σ certification are preferred.
