Job Summary

Serve as a client-first, sales-driven advisor in the branch, engaging customers in in-person and proactive phone conversations to identify financial wellness needs. Build and deepen relationships to attract new clients, meet activity and sales goals, and recommend tailored products. Open consumer and small business accounts and support transactions on the teller line as needed, while ensuring compliance with operational, risk, security, and audit procedures.

•Deliver a strong client experience by engaging every client and teammate and recognizing the impact on clients’ personal and financial needs.
•Listen for opportunities during in-person and phone conversations and provide customized financial wellness recommendations.
•Meet individual activity, behavior, and outcome goals and expectations consistently.
•Open and manage consumer and business accounts and deposit/lending products, including consumer checking, small business, home equity, unsecured lending, and CDs.
•Ensure compliance with operational, risk, security, and audit procedures, including proper documentation of client interactions; support branch operations including teller transactions as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 20.67 - 31.25 hourly

Key Requirements

•1+ year experience developing current and new customer relationships, achieving sales goals, and building referral sources; sales experience is more important than financial services experience.
•Understanding of consumer credit, including loan-to-value, debt-to-income, and credit reports.
•Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques including tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting, and networking.
•Comfortably interact with small business clients by overcoming objection and asking fact-finding questions (preferred).
•Working knowledge of PCs (MS Windows and Office products like Word and Excel) and digital technology (mobile, apps, web-based browsing).
